Aldi Is Selling a Chic $30 Rattan Lamp That's Similar to a Target Style More Than 2x the Price

Buying home decor pieces is one way to make your space a bit more stylish or cute. However, many pieces are useful as well, like lamps or side tables. And this upcoming week, Aldi has a very trendy rattan lamp for sale that looks a lot like a Target style that’s more than twice the price.

From August 14-20, Aldi will be selling the CASALUX Rattan Lamp for $29.99 in the Aldi Finds section of your local store (depending on availability, of course). Aldi’s site doesn’t have much information about this lamp, but the pictures show a gorgeous shaded lamp with an intricate woven base. The shade is white and pretty wide from top to bottom. It looks like it has gold hardware and then a tan rattan base with a woven design.

CASALUX Rattan Lamp , $29.99 at Aldi

Their listing doesn’t give its exact size or if it includes a lightbulb, so we can probably assume it doesn’t come with one. But for $29.99, it would be a steal if it did. And in the image showing the lamp on a dresser, it looks like it’s a good size.

Rattan Diagonal Weave Table Lamp Tan - Opalhouse , $65 at Target

The Aldi rattan lamp looks a lot like the Rattan Diagonal Weave Table Lamp Tan by Opalhouse at Target for $65. This price does include an LED lightbulb, which is a plus, along with the lamp itself, the shade, harp and finial (the metal around the lightbulb holding it in place). It has a very similar shade and base design; a wide white shade with gold hardware and a woven rattan base. The woven design is not exactly the same, but pretty darn close. We do have more specs about this one too, including the fact that it has a 5-foot chord and the base measures 11 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter (all together it measures 21 inches tall and 12 inches in diameter).

It’ll be easier to see how big Aldi’s CASALUX Rattan Lamp is in the store to see how comparable it is to Target’s. But even just by looking at it, the two are very similar. So if you want to save some money and get a cute, boho-chic lamp to spruce up your space, Aldi’s lamp might just be for you.
