Target Is Selling a 'Super Cute' $12 Woven Basket Similar to a Pottery Barn Style Over 2x the Price

Organizing in style is one way to make decluttering your home fun. Instead of just putting things back where they belong or just having them out in the open, finding little baskets and bins for them that also make your space look cute is a plus. One of Target’s woven baskets is perfect for smaller items in your bedroom or bathroom and oh-so-cute. Plus they look like a Pottery Barn style that’s more than twice the price.

The Target-exclusive Magnolia brand, Hearth & Hand, sells a Woven Basket with Lid in a natural color and two sizes: small ($11.99) and medium ($14.99). They are stout, round baskets that could stay on any dresser or desk; the small measures 3 inches by 5 inches, and the medium measures 4 inches by 6 inches.

Woven Basket with Lid Natural - Hearth & Hand with Magnolia, Small , $11.99 at Target

Again, it’s in the color “natural,” so it’s like a classic straw color. These baskets are made with a rattan material in a classic (yet intricate) woven design. The lid is in a slightly sloped design and the bottom has a band of rattan making a sturdy base. It’s also a “Wedding Registry Favorite,” which goes to show how much of a home fave it is.

The reviews are also favorable, with 258 reviews and ratings and 5 stars. One shopper simply wrote that it was “perfection” while another wrote it was “cute and well-made.”

The Target basket is pretty similar to Pottery Barn’s Tava Handwoven Rattan Bathroom Accessory Canisters . They come in three sizes: small, medium and large. The small is 4 inches by 4.75 inches tall ($25), the medium is 5 inches by 6 inches tall ($35) and the large is 6 inches by 7 inches tall ($45). While the large size isn’t comparable to the two Target sizes, the small and medium are. The main difference is that instead of a squat, round basket, these canisters are cylindrical, where they’re taller. Plus their lids seem to have a more secure fit because of the lip inside that the lid sits on. They are also made with rattan (per their title) and they are more of a white color than Target’s.

Target is known for affordable home products that are well-made and fit the bill in terms of cute decor. So if you’re looking for something aesthetically pleasing to house your smaller items like hair clips, makeup, jewelry or nightstand essentials, the Hearth & Hand Woven Basket with Lid is worth checking out.
