Peacock Makes Big Announcement About 'The Traitors'

Fans of The Traitors , today is your day to rejoice. So raise those rusty chalices and pray they aren't full of poison, because a celebration is in order. On Aug. 14, 2024, fresh off of four Primetime Emmy nominations (including ones for Outstanding Reality Competition Program and Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program for Alan Cumming ), The Traitors has been renewed for an additional two seasons. Yes, you read that correctly. Peacock has renewed the US version of The Traitors for Seasons 4 and 5 with Cumming attached to host. That's another two chances for Kate Chastain to finally win a season.

The Traitors U.S. debuted on Peacock in 2023 to strong reviews, but became an international sensation when Season 2 aired in early 2024. Between Phaedra Parks memes, Parvati Shallow 's headband collection and "Oh my lord, sweet baby Jesus not Ekin-Su ," The Traitors became one of the most talked about shows airing, and was quickly renewed for Season 3.

While Season 3, which features 21 celebrities including Big Brother 's Britney Haynes , RHONY 's Dorinda Medley , Survivor 's Rob Mariano and Britney Spears 's ex Sam Asghari , has already been filmed and will presumably air this winter, this announcement means that fans will have plenty of betrayal and murder through 2027 at the very least.

While we've got a few months before The Traitors hits streaming (and a few years before we see Seasons 4 and 5), you can still stream Seasons 1 and 2 (plus a few international versions) on Peacock. While we wait, there's also plenty of time to fan cast the future seasons. Brb mailing a letter to 30 Rock begging for them to Ika Wong (IYKYK) and Monica Garcia on Season 4.
