Trent Johnston Shares New Photos With Granddaughter Leighton

Fans are amazed by how quickly Amber and Trent Johnston’s first grandchild is growing up.

The 7 Little Johnstons stars became grandparents last fall with the arrival of Leighton , who their daughter, Liz Johnston , shares with Brice Bolden . Leighton recently spent some time with her grandfather—who calls himself her “Boppa”—as seen in new photos that the family patriarch shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

Trent’s three-part Instagram carousel began with a selfie he took with his 9-month-old granddaughter as she slept on his lap. The two appeared to be enjoying the summer weather while seated in a vehicle outside.

The next two photos showed Leighton peering into a deer feeder while Bolden added feed to the contraption. In the final image, Trent was photographed hoisting his granddaughter up so she could peer inside. Leighton’s eyes were fixed on the camera as her hands rested on the edge of the container, with her loving grandfather keeping a close eye on her as he held her body up.

“Feeding deer with Daddy and Boppa and trail riding!” Trent wrote to caption the post. He added the #team7lj hashtag to the post as a nod to the many fans who follow his family and their popular TLC show on social media.

Several of the reality TV personality’s fans rushed to the post’s comment section to share how “adorable” Leighton looked in the photos, with many also noting how quickly the infant seemed to be growing up.

“She’s so beautiful and growing so fast! Looks like she’s Boppas side kick!!” one fan gushed.

“She is adorable. She is really growing up quickly. ❤️,” another fan agreed.

“O my, how she’s grown!!!! Beautiful!!!” one Instagram user said.

Others were excited to see how much Trent has embraced his role as a grandfather.
