'The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras' Premiere Reveals the Biggest Night of Eliminations Ever

This week, The Challenge returned for its 40th season on MTV. It's the most massive installment yet of the longest-running reality series, featuring a whopping 40 cast members representing four different eras of the show. But the vets were put to the test immediately, as the first ever "Era Invitational" will see sixteen people go to elimination, as friendships and rivalries are already tested.

Who was eliminated on The Challenge 40 tonight?

The premiere served as Part 1 of the "Era Invitational," which saw our challenge winners and one half of our elimination candidates. We'll see next week in Part 2 which players will join them, who will win in the arena, and who will be sent packing.
