Lady Gaga Makes Jaws Drop With 'Dark' Makeover: 'Giving Iconic Era'

After dazzling audiences as a platinum blonde while performing at the Olympics Opening Ceremony, it appears Lady Gaga has made a drastic style shift.

In her two most recent Instagram posts, the 38-year-old singer's hair was a dark brunette shade, contrasting with her lighter eyebrows. She rounded out the look with a leopard-print coat and a pair of short black boots in a series of photos, switching to a black Bruno Mars t-shirt in another video of herself playing the piano with the same hair.

Fans were quick to give Gaga's new hair their stamp of approval.

"THE DARK HAIR IS GIVING ICONIC ERA," wrote one person.

"Dark hair, eye brows bleached, let’s go! 🤩" raved a second Instagram user.

Music lovers also hoped that Gaga's choice of t-shirt was her way of letting the world know about a collaboration between Mars and herself.

"GAGA X BRUNO 👀 we are so ready for this Mother 🖤," wrote one hopeful fan.

"Bruno x Gaga is really happening! 🤯" commented a second person.

Gaga has more than a new song on the horizon, however. The pop star behind such hits as "Born This Way" seemingly confirmed her engagement to Michael Polansky at the Paris Olympics a couple of days after performing Zizi Jeanmaire’s “Mon Truc en Plumes” along the Seine River.

In a video shared on social media by French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal , Gaga introduced Polansky to Attal as “my fiancé” while watching a swimming event.

The singer and the entrepreneur, 46, have been an item for over four years. The couple made their relationship public at the Super Bowl in February 2020,
