The sweet gesture Adele made for a concertgoer during one of her recent shows in Munich, Germany, left fans “sobbing” after footage of the moment spread online.
A video shared on social media by TikToker @paolatravell in mid-August showed what inspired the moment as it focused on a screen at Munich’s Messe München before the English singer’s performance began. Fans were able to send messages to be projected onto the arena’s large screen—and in one case, a concertgoer named Becca did so to congratulate her friend on beating cancer.
“Congrats on being cancer free,” the message read. “Steph, let’s celebrate tonight xx.”
In the TikToker’s text overlay for the video, they drew attention to the message before urging viewers to "wait to see what happened.”

The video then jumped to the moment when Adele addressed the message while onstage. As the “Rolling in the Deep” hitmaker explained to her audience, she saw the message while in her dressing room before the show began and was struck by the cancer-free concertgoer’s major milestone.
“I would like it if we could all celebrate with Steph tonight,” she said. “Congratulations. Well done, you absolute warrior. Steph, I don’t know where you are, I don’t know what part of the arena you’re in, but I’m very, very happy for you.”
The video shifted again to a later part of the concert that showed the 16-time Grammy Award winner onstage after the sun had set. The message, and the fan who inspired it, were still clearly on her mind.
“I would like to dedicate this next song to Steph, who we are all here to celebrate,” she said before introducing the Bob Dylan -penned “Make You Feel My Love.”
“This is for you, my darling girl,” she said before she began singing.
Fans applauded Adele’s sincerity in the video’s comment section as the TikToker who posted the video declared, “We need more Adele in this world ‼️🥹😭😍♥️.”
“Adele is such a beautiful human inside and out 💜,” one fan gushed as another shared, "Adele I’m sobbing 😩.”
“Adele seems like such a genuinely kind person 🥹 every video I’ve seen from her shows gives off that vibe!” one TikToker wrote.
“I love her 💕 also congratulations Steph 💖,” another TikToker commented.
