Cute, little purses are fun for nights out or for a specific outfit you want to show off. While bigger, more spacious bags are great for everyday use, they sometimes aren’t as eye-catching or fun. However, Target’s new puffer bag is the perfect mix of function and style. And to top it off, it looks a lot like a popular Free Bag style that’s three times the price.

Target’s Puffer Hobo Bag by their brand Wild Fable is currently $25 and already has people rushing to buy it. A hobo bag is a slouchy, crescent-shaped bag and is often meant to just go over your shoulder. And this particular bag fits that style perfectly. There’s the main bag compartment and a single strap, all with a boxed puffy design throughout. It measures 14 inches long, 17 inches wide and 6.5 inches deep, making it a good size for daily needs; the strap has a max length of 15 inches.

This puffer hobo bag has a “lightweight construction,” per Target’s website, and is made out of 100% recycled polyester. The main compartment has a zipper and even has a zippered inner pocket too. It comes in four solid colors that run the gamut of neutral to vibrant: off-white, pink, black and red. And even though it’s so new, it already has a lot of love in the reviews.

“You will regret it if you don't buy it,” one person titled their review, before writing more. “Love the spacious it's so roomie it fits my laptop, my flask and notepads, and my makeup bag and room for more.”

One shopper wrote that it was “great quality inside/out” and wrote that it’s great “if you want the Free People vibe without the price tag, this is IT!” As we mentioned before, this bag looks a lot like the FP Movement Quilted Carryall . One other person also wrote that not only is it their “new gym bag” but also called it the “perfect dupe for the FP bag!”

A popular Target Instagram shopping account, @ targetchaos , posted about it last week, pointing out that it looks a lot like a Free People style as well. "Aren’t they identical!???!!!” she commented. People in her comments also clamored for the link, with one person writing, “They’re so pretty!!! 👏👏👏"

    Free People

Free People’s FP Movement Quilted Carryall is currently $68 and comes in several different colors. It also has the same look and design as Target’s Puffer Hobo Bag, even down to the measurements; Free People’s bag measures 14 inches tall, 17 inches long and 6.5 inches deep (with a 15-inch handle drop). They call it “lightweight” and “slouchy” along with having a zippered main compartment. The main difference is that this one has exterior pockets.

So if you’re looking for a spacious everyday bag that is also cute and a conversation starter, Target’s Puffer Hobo Bag might be the one for you. Whether you use it as a gym bag or something for when you leave the house, it seems to tick all the boxes for a good staple accessory.
