The 2024 Olympics have officially come to a close, but not without seeing Simone Biles become the most decorated athlete in women's gymnastics history. After weeks of exciting events, broken world records and delicious Olympic village treats , it’s now time to welcome our athletes home and let them know just how proud we all are. And after a long Olympic season filled with gruesome workout routines and strict diets, we’re all wondering what exactly the Olympic gold medalist looks forward to eating the second she gets back home.

After securing Olympic medal number 11 and dominating the gymnastics floor in Paris, the Columbus, Ohio native took to Threads to announce her go-to post Olympic meal:

“First meal, Stick Talk,” the gold medalist wrote, following her sentiment up with “never misses.”

Stick Talk Cajun-Hibachi is a Houston, Texas restaurant that combines Japanese and Cajun cuisine and includes hibachi staples such as fried lo mein noodles and classic Southern seafood boils. News of the Olympian's first meal back quickly spread online, leading to Stick Talk’s owner revealing that Biles’ husband, Jonathan Owens, had retrieved the takeout order for her. Simone reportedly ordered two portions of chicken fried rice with vegetables and spicy garlic butter and a side of noodles.

Amidst all of the excitement of the decorated athlete’s return home, one of the co-owners of the restaurant's hospitality group, Jonathan Reitzel, told news outlets, “Maybe we’ll have to name a dish after her.” A smart move in our opinion, considering Biles will likely be an influential figure for years to come. One that up and coming athletes will certainly be looking up to while searching for more ways to connect with their favorite gymnast.

This year’s Olympics provided some of the greatest sports moments in history, and we all had the pleasure of watching the events unfold together. Biles won 8 gold medals while breaking a world record previously held by Shannon Miller in the process. And after having one of the most incredible showings in Olympics history, we think she deserves all of the flowers coming her way and cannot wait to see more things named in her honor.
