Walmart Is Selling 'Trendy' $23 Suede Boots So Similar to a Best-Selling UGG Style Over 7x the Price

UGGs have been such a staple in our fall and winter wardrobes since the early 2000s, especially because they're stylish and warm, which are essential for the colder months . And even though it’s still summer, there’s nothing wrong with getting ready for the fall with some Walmart boots that look a lot like UGGs (a shoe that’s over seven times the price, by the way).

We’re talking about Walmart’s best-selling Time and Tru Women's Genuine Suede Platform Cozy Boots , which are currently full price at $22.98. These look like a standard suede bootie (very much like UGGs) but with a more upturned-toe area and seams around the ankle ear. These suede boots are platform, as the name suggests, so it has a thick, 3-inch sole. The upper part of the boot is made from 100% genuine suede leather and has a 100% polyester faux fur lining, which makes up the cozy part of the boot.

Time and Tru Women's Genuine Suede Platform Cozy Boots , $22.98 at Walmart

Time and Tru’s suede platform boots come in five colors: cognac, black, gray, sand (cream) and metallic silver. They also come in sizes 6 through 11 and in a standard medium width. And even though the listing only has 15 reviews and ratings at the time of reporting, the style has nearly 5 stars.

"They're cute,” one shopper wrote in a review. “I mean Time and Tru has always been a trustworthy brand with their cute and durable products. The fit is a little tight for I have wide [feet] but my Mom would love these."

Another person agreed that they were “so cute” and said they were shoes they’d “actually wear regularly.” Even though they were hard to get on at first with their long nails, the shopper said that they are easier to remove now and they “really like them.”

"Fashionable," one more person wrote. “Quality is great. They are super soft [on] the inside. I love the color I'm going to order them in black! Not waterproof but you can buy a spray if you wish. Not too high but they're very trendy."

Women's Classic Mini Platform , $170 at UGG

As we mentioned before, these Walmart boots are similar to UGG’s Women's Classic Mini Platform boots, which are currently $170. They’re called “classic” because they have the standard design of a classic UGG boot for the upper part. The main difference is the fact that they’re a little shorter and have a platform sole (which is only 2 inches). They are of course made with real suede and have detailed stitching. The inside furry lining is made with real wool and they come in three colors: black, chestnut and mustard seed.

Of course, a $23 pair of Walmart’s Time and Tru Women's Genuine Suede Platform Cozy Boots aren’t going to be the same exact quality as $170 UGG boots. But if you want to get a head start on cozy boots for fall, and don’t want to spend a ton of money, Walmart is definitely worth checking out.
