'1000-Lb Sisters' Fans Praise Tammy Slaton's 'Inspiring' Weight Loss Transformation in Latest Update

When 1000-Lb Sisters premiered in 2020, Tammy Slaton weighed over 600 pounds while her sister, Amy , tipped the scales at more than 400 pounds. Both siblings have come a long way since then—and recently, TLC fans praised Tammy for her "inspiring" weight loss transformation in a new social media post.

On Aug. 16, Tammy, 38, took to Instagram with a picture of herself and information on voting for her in the American Reality Television Awards.

"If you text ARTAS to 40691 to vote for me you can vote once a day until September 2nd," she captioned the update.

The website notes Tammy has been nominated under the "Reality Queen" category. However, she is in good company.
