Fans are worried for Alicia Silverstone's well-being after the Clueless star perfectly played the part while across the pond, cluelessly consuming what fans have identified as a deadly plant belonging to the nightshade family out of somebody's garden.

The actress took to TikTok on the evening of Monday, Aug. 20, with a video of herself calling on fans to help her identify the berry she'd plucked from the vine, writing, "What the heck is this!? I’m in England and can’t figure it out. 🤔."

She explained in the brief clip that she and her party were discussing whether it was a tomato after finding it while walking down the street, showing off the red-orange berry that she "just bit into" in an attempt to determine its identity.

"It's definitely not [a tomato] because look at these leaves," she continued, showing the entirety of the bush located behind a wrought iron fence, growing red, orange, yellow, and green-colored fruits.

She bit another to show off the seeds inside, chewing it thoughtfully as she mused, "I don't think you're supposed to eat this, but it's almost like a pepper."

Unfortunately for Silverstone, many followers have identified it as a Jerusalem Cherry. According to the Northern New England Poison Center , eating the fruit or its leaves can leave a person feeling sick to their stomach and cause vomiting and diarrhea, though consuming a large amount can lead to drowsiness, hallucinations, and heart problems. According to the Los Angeles Times and Queensland Poison Centre , severe cases have also led to paralysis, coma and even death. Experts reported some symptoms can last for several days.

Since Silverstone hasn't yet responded to anyone's warnings or posted a follow-up on social media, fans are concerned she may have eaten more than she shared and may be in need of medical attention.

"OMG NO!!" one fan wrote emphatically. "Jerusalem Cherry very poisonous in the Nightshade family. Hope you are ok 💚."

"Jerusalem Cherry - toxic. 🥺," another wrote with an emotional emoji.

Others took a more sarcastic route, scolding the actress for taking something that wasn't hers.

"That’s called a 'it’s not yours. You shouldn’t touch it,'" one wrote, while another said, "Even if it was a tomato, it’s on someone’s private front garden, you can’t just reach through their gate and pick their plants."

"You bit into something you don’t know what it is? On the street!!?" another questioned in shock, with a fourth wondering, "who just picks something they don't know what it is and eats it."

But most begged for an update from Silverstone, with one writing overnight, "Okay it is 7am in England, can you give us an update PLEASE. just a quick 'hey I’m okay!' 🥲."

"WOMAN! UPDATE US," another demanded. "ARE YOU ALIVE AND WELL!?!"

"can someone tag me when we know she's OK 😫," another requested.

Parade has reached out to Silverstone's rep for an update.
