KFC and Kraft are teaming up for one truly cheesy collaboration, which has resulted in several apparently controversial products.

Across the border in Canada, fans of the Kentucky Fried Chicken chain and household macaroni and cheese brand have found a trio of new releases—two of which customers can only find at participating KFC locations, while the third has been made available on grocery store shelves.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 19, KFC restaurants across Canada will offer two new items: The KD Mac & Cheese Chicken Sandwich and The KD Mac & Cheese Snacker Wrap, according to the Toronto Sun .

Information shared with the outlet describes the sandwich as a triple-breaded chicken served with a pile of KD [Kraft Dinner] on top. The wrap, on the other hand, is made with Kraft macaroni and cheese layered on top of chicken tenders and loaded into a warm tortilla.

Along with the new menu items, KFC and Kraft worked together to release a limited-edition box of mac 'n cheese: the KD KFC Original Recipe Flavour Mac ‘n Cheese. According to local reports, the new grocery store item features the classic boxed macaroni fans have loved for years, just seasoned with the Colonel’s secret blend of 11 herbs and spices.

Fast food influencer Snackolator also got wind of the new additions and was among the first to applaud the partnership, sharing a promo image while admitting they'd "absolutely want to see these kinds of partnerships come here [to the U.S.]."

And just like the fried cookie dough KFC brought to Australia , more stateside fans also hope the restaurant chain brings this collaboration–or others like it–back home.

"Come to America," one Instagram user demanded before another begged, "bring it to stores in America I need to try this."

"Canada getting the better flavors/combos AGAIN!" a third exclaimed. "Jealous. Haha. I’d love to try this."

"You’re telling me I could have free healthcare and chicken flavored Mac n cheese if I move," a different fan sarcastically added.

But not everyone was excited about the comfort food-inspired series, with one outspoken social media user writing, "Immediately no."

"That looks like a mess ready to happen😂," a second shared, while another called it a "weird combo," with someone else only imagining the "salt" levels.

"I can already feel my heart giving out," a fifth quipped.
