Ice Spice Sends Bold Message to Fans Accusing Her of Ozempic Use

Ice Spice has a direct message to anyone suggesting she's slimming down with the help of Ozempic.

The rapper went live on X Spaces recently, as heard in a snippet republished to Instagram by The Shade Room , telling fans that "one thing I wish" is that "y’all never learned the word Ozempic" after fans left comments like "the ozempic is working 😭" on her more recent social media posts .

In fact, the musician didn't even seem to be sure what the comments meant, asking, "Like, what even is Ozempic...Genuinely, what is that?” during the live chat before suggesting that her fans didn't really know the context, either.

“Like, you lazy b-----s never heard of the gym? It’s called the gym, it’s called eating healthy, it’s called being on tour,” she emphasized. "Maybe if I was sitting home all...day, it’d be easier to stay big."

It's a safe assumption these days that if a celebrity posts a photo showing off their weight loss, you'll find the word " Ozempic " in their comments.

The weekly injection is a brand name for the active ingredient semaglutide, a blood sugar-lowering type 2 diabetes medication that has become increasingly popular for weight loss.

Kelly Clarkson , Mama June Shannon , several cast members from the Real Housewives of New Jersey , and more have all turned to Ozempic or similar medications, such as Mounjaro, to help them slim down. While others, like Bella Thorn , have called out the "crazy beauty standards" being set by the widespread use and opened up about the self-esteem issues that come with it.
