Blake Shelton is just a country boy at heart—so it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that when he took to Instagram recently to introduce fans to the "newest member of the family," he wasn't talking about a child or a pet, he was talking about...a tractor.

The 48-year-old singer posted a video from his Oklahoma ranch on Aug. 20 starring the latest addition, a new Kubota RTV-X1130 long bed utility vehicle.

"I am certain that Kubota gets a little frustrated with me at times because I don't know what anything's actually called. So I call this the 'big long thing,'" Shelton said in the clip. "Check this out! I mean, what?" he continued.

"We got hunting season coming up, look at this," Shelton added, showing off the tractor. "Deer. Gear. Beer. Pull up right here. I mean, what is that?"

"And to all my buddies out there, no. You're not borrowing this thing," Shelton warned before singing a spontaneous song: "Don't go riding on my big long thing!"

"Meet the newest member of the family.. #kubota #kubotacountry ," he captioned the post, and commenters couldn't get enough of Shelton's outdoorsy antics.

"It’s the rhyming and freestyling for me😭😭😭🥺😍," wrote one fan.

"❤😮😂he is funny …. Deeerrr, GEEEEAAAARRRR, BEEEEEERRRRR," agreed a second Instagram user.

This isn't the first time Shelton has been inspired to make impromptu music about farming. In a video shared on Instagram in September 2023, the former Voice coach made up another funny tune while riding a different Kubota tractor. "I'm writing this song as I'm planting my seeds. I ain't got time to stop and I might've just peed," he sang.

It seems like Shelton is definitely enjoying his low-key life on the ranch, which was apparently the plan. In December 2022, he told People that he chose to step away from The Voice to focus on spending more time with his family, including wife Gwen Stefani .

"Gwen and I have done so much traveling and touring and work the first half of our lives that now we're like, 'Hey, I'm good to put my sweatpants on at 6 p.m. and watch Ozark eight times. That's our life now, and we love it," he said.
