Customers Say Panera Is 'On a Roll' With Several Fall Menu Items

You know cooler temperatures are around the corner when chains like Starbucks and Dunkin' start introducing fall-friendly foods—and now Panera is getting in on the autumn-inspired action.

On Wednesday, August 21, food blogger Markie Devo shared an image on Instagram of the popular restaurant's new offerings, and fans are definitely ready to make the seasonal switch.

"Finally a menu that doesn’t make my teeth chatter😬🍁 Panera is on a roll with new menu items, here’s a preview of what they just released," Markie Devo captioned the post, going on to describe the sweet and savory treats.

Included on the list were the Almond Pastry, the Cherry Pastry, the Cranberry Orange Slice, the Coconut Macaroon, the Chocolate Coconut Macaroon, the Pumpkin Cookie, and three varieties of croissant-based breakfast sandwiches (Croissant Bacon, Egg & Cheese, Croissant Sausage, Egg & Cheese, and Croissant Egg & Cheese).

In the comments, Panera-lovers expressed their enthusiasm.

"Ooooh all looks so yummy!! Looking forward to try the almond and the chocolate coconut 😍," wrote one fan.

"It’s cranberry orange..It’s not a muffin but I have to try it first. Hoping it’s really good!" commented a second person.

Some customers were disappointed to see their favorite foods missing from the list, however.

"No cherry vanilla bagel I’m cryingggg😭😭," lamented one Instagram user.

"No pumpkin muffie again?😔," complained another.

The new menu is currently available at participating Panera locations, though the croissant sandwiches are only for sale during breakfast hours .
