Dancing with the Stars will be returning to ABC and Disney+ on Sept. 17. It has previously been announced that Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will return as co-hosts and that Carrie Ann Inaba , Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough will be back at the judges’ table.

Parade can now share that American Olympic medalist Stephen Nedoroscik joins DWTS Season 33 as the first celebrity casting, per an announcement made this morning on Good Morning America.

Nedoroscik said he hopes to bring some of his pommel horse moves to DWTS, "I want to bring some flares, maybe a backflip or a handstand. I want to have fun with it."

Obviously, the Olympian won't be wearing his two bronze medals on the dance floor but what about his glasses?

"I am scared they will fly off is the thing," he said. "Maybe we could do a gadget, keep them on. Maybe a new pair of glasses to match the theme."
