Fans Lose It Over Surprise Cameo in Sabrina Carpenter's New Music Video

On Friday, Aug. 23, Sabrina Carpenter drops her new album, Short n' Sweet , along with the music video for the track "Taste." Sharing a sneak peek of the video, Carpenter revealed a very special cameo featuring Wednesday star Jenna Ortega , and fans are going crazy.

In the short teaser for the "Taste" music video, Carpenter looks over a table filled with weapons and grabs a knife. It cuts to her arriving at a fancy home as Ortega and a man get into the shower. Carpenter angrily arrives in the bathroom, throws open the shower curtain and raises the knife like she'll strike, leaving Ortega with a scared and shocked face.

Like Carpenter, Ortega is a huge star at the moment, appearing in hits like the Scream franchise and the upcoming Beetlejuice Beetlejuice movie, so when the clip began circulating on social media, fans were quick to share their unfiltered reactions to the cameo.

"With THEE Jenna Ortega btw, omg we will ALL be watching!" declared one fan, while more said, "JENNA ORTEGA CAMEO???? OH THIS GONNA EAT!" and "WAIT THIS LOOKS SO GOOD OMG."

Quite a few fans were so overwhelmed by the reveal that all they wrote was some variation of "JENNA ORTEGA?!" in reaction.

A different fan proclaimed, "shes lowkey single handily making mv fun again," as a similar comment read, "Finally a pop girl who’s bringing CINEMA back to music videos."

Someone else pointed out that both Carpenter and Ortega began their careers on the Disney Channel with Girl Meets World and Stuck in the Middle , respectively, as they wrote, "jenna ortega?? disney girls united??? im so sat for this."

A couple of days before the short clip was released, Carpenter shared a photo of herself and a woman on the set for the music video, standing with their backs facing the camera. Many speculated who the woman beside Carpenter could be, but plenty were still surprised when it was revealed to be Ortega.
