Aldi Is Selling a Modern $25 Side Table Similar to Styles from Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel up to Almost 16x the Price

It truly feels like you won the lottery when you can find an affordable household item that doubles as something else. While it’s nice to have a modern and stylish side table that does its job, it’s even better if that table could perform other jobs like a mini desk or eating tray. Lucky for you, Aldi is going to be selling a table like this coming Wednesday. Not only is it affordable, but it looks a lot like side tables from Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel up to almost 16 times the price.

From Aug. 28 through Sept. 3 (yep, we’re already in September!), Aldi is selling a SOHL Furniture XL Couch Table for $24.99 in the Aldi Finds aisles of your local store (while supplies last). It’s a C-shape table, meaning that there is a metal base, legs on one side and a flat top. It measures 22 inches long, 14 inches wide and 26 inches tall when fully assembled. While Aldi’s site doesn’t list the materials it’s made out of, it looks like the frame is metal and the tabletop is a light wood.

SOHL Furniture XL Couch Table , $24.99 at Aldi

This couch table makes a “C” silhouette and is designed to slide its base under couches. This allows people to bring it closer to them while they’re on the couch so that it can act as a desk for their laptop or a tray for food or drinks. This is great for people who work from home, specifically, because it opens up more places where you can work comfortably.

Back in June, we reported that Aldi was selling another SOHL Furniture couch table for $15 and it was basically the same table, just smaller. With the nature of Aldi Finds, of course, it was only available in stores for a week or while supplies last. Sometimes you can still find items at Aldi stores weeks later, but that’s on a case-by-case basis. So this new XL couch table is a nice second-chance purchase for those who missed out last time.

Duke Rectangular Metal C-Table (27"), $399 at Pottery Barn

As we mentioned before, this Aldi couch table is very similar to other products out there. The first is Pottery Barn’s Duke Rectangular Metal C-Table , which is currently $399. It is slightly wider than Aldi’s but the same height, measuring 27 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 26 inches tall. It has the same C-shape and function and is made with aluminum material that has a “bronze finish.”

Avenue Black C Table , $199 at Crate & Barrel

Another product similar to Aldi’s table is Crate & Barrel’s Avenue Black C Table for $199. It is slightly smaller, measuring 20 inches wide, 10 inches deep and 24 inches tall, but it does have the same function thanks to its C-shape design. This one is made with steel and has a metal tabletop with a “black powder coat finish.”

Kate and Laurel Lockridge Modern C-Shape End Accent Table, Walnut Brown and Black , $119.53 on Amazon

Lastly, Amazon sells the Kate and Laurel Lockridge Modern C-Shape End Accent Table for $119.53, and this one looks the most like Aldi’s XL Couch Table. As you could have guessed, this is a C-shape table (as the name says) and it has a metal base and wood tabletop. It measures 19 inches wide, 12 inches deep and 27 inches tall. It comes in three wood stains: walnut brown, rustic brown and dark walnut brown. Again, between the wood stain and black metal frame, this C-shaped table is a direct comparison to Aldi’s.

Considering all of those options are more than $100, Aldi’s SOHL Furniture XL Couch Table is worth checking out if you’re intrigued by this type of side table.
