Bethenny Frankel 's TikTok page is probably one of the most entertaining and engaging social media profiles out there. Her in-your-face attitude and unfiltered opinions about life and food garner thousands of comments, shares and likes, but recently it's her chicken salad upgrade that's been on our mind (and all over our FYP).

One of Frankel's most recent and most popular posts is about her favorite hack for making her chicken salad a bit more elegant. The tip? Add tobiko . "My whole fyp is people eating tobiko 😂😂 you started this," says one TikToker with Frankel replying "YUP lol." Here's what you need to know to make this summertime star-approved lunch.

What is the Bethenny Frankel Chicken Salad Trend?

Frankel has been all over TikTok in multiple videos making her chicken salad on her famous scooped-out bagels (see below for more on that) and, more recently, topped with tobiko. Chances are, if you're a sushi fan, you've run into tobiko—it's the tiny little fish eggs on top of sushi rolls that pop in your mouth with that satisfying crunch. And people are going wild for this elegant upgrade to an otherwise regular-old lunch.

What Are People Saying About Bethenny Frankel's Chicken Salad?

The TikToks, which have hundreds and hundreds of comments, have basically crowned Frankel the chicken salad queen. "You’re literally THE chicken salad influencer. I’ve seen so many inspired posts," says one, and "#lordswork" says another. TikTokers have embraced Frankel's recipe but are adding their own spin on it too with some saying to add pepperoncini juice or pickle juice from a jar instead of the pricey celery juice that Frankel uses and others adding in spices like everything bagel spice or curry powder. And thousands of people cannot be wrong on this one: "We, the people love your tik toks!! says one fan.

How Do You Make Bethenny Frankel's Chicken Salad?

Frankel starts out by taking a room temperature or warm rotisserie chicken and shredding it. She says it absorbs the mayo better than when it's cold (did you know that Frankel went to culinary school?! It's true). Next up, mince one stalk of celery. Add to a bowl with the shredded chicken. Next, add two big spoonfuls of mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper and a squeeze of Dijon mustard. Then add in some minced dill, to taste (a couple of teaspoons). Taste and adjust seasonings and mayo to taste. Last, add in a splash of celery juice. Top with a heavy scoop of tobiko. (Note: if you can't find tobiko, look for the similar masago (smelt roe) or ikura (salmon roe) at the store.

If you can't find time to make your own chicken salad, never fear, Frankel has been there too. In several videos she tastes tests store-bought chicken salad, so if you have a favorite that's an option too. Just don't skip the tobiko.

And as for Frankel's bagels, we hacked the code on that recipe too. Frankel freezes her (New York) bagels whole, then when she's ready for an open-faced sammie, pops it in the microwave for 30 seconds. After cutting it in half, she toasts it, then scoops out the inside of her bagel before adding the chicken salad. Other TikToks show her air frying her bagel instead of the microwave/toaster method, so do whatever is easy for you). Frankel says this method produces a bagel that is crispy outside and steamy on the inside. "It becomes super soft inside, like a fresh bagel," she says in her TikTok.
