It's always interesting to see what menu items fast food chains release in areas outside the continental U.S. However, Wendy's customers were frustrated to learn that a promising dessert offering was recently released in Puerto Rico. And it left some pleading for the restaurant to "bring it to America."

On Aug. 23, food blogger Snackolator took to Instagram to give followers a look at the Creamy Cheesecake available in the unincorporated U.S. territory. The offering reportedly features a cheesecake in a cup topped with hazelnut cream.

"I'm always waiting for Wendy's to find ways to elevate the Frosty whether a sundae or better mix-ins, but this could be a solid dessert option if they brought it here," Snackolator captioned their update.

They then asked followers: "Would you want to see Wendy's bring cheesecake to the states? If so, what topping do you want to be on it if not Nutella?"

In the comments, fans sounded off on the new sweet menu item. "Bring it to America 🇺🇸 it something my mom would want," one Instagram user wrote."

"Yum!" someone else commented, while another lamented, "I was hoping this would be nation wide 😢."

Meanwhile, others shared ideas for what they'd like to see for a cheesecake offering here in the U.S.

"Caramel cheesecake," one Instagram user suggested, while another declared, "I want a Nutella frosty."

Although U.S. Wendy's fans won't be able to get their hands on Creamy Cheesecake, they can look forward to the return of a different fan-favorite seasonal treat. The Pumpkin Spice Frosty debuted in September 2023 and barring an alternative fall option, the fast food chain will likely bring it back in September 2024.

So far all their limited edition flavors have sucked. Every one of them tasted way too artificial. I'll stick to the chocolate flavor, they got that one right
