Fans Demand Answers After Ed Kelce Reveals Lifetime Ban From Popular Social Media Platform

Fans are rallying behind Jason and Travis Kelce 's dad Ed after the NFL family patriarch revealed he'd managed to catch a lifetime ban from X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Papa Kelce dropped the lore in a recent post on his personal Facebook page , sharing an article claiming that arms dealers from Yemen were using the platform to hawk their weapons. "Arms dealers are free to peddle their wares on X, but I'm banned for life and they won't say why," he wrote alongside the link, adding that the only explanation he received was a "generic 'Terms Of Service' violation."

Shortly after, Ed shared Parade's article about the family's new ad for Garage Beer , which found him and Jason standing on either side of a small cardboard cutout of Travis, leading Ed to troll Jason over his finances.

Ed noted how the ad was uploaded to X, observing, "Apparently I can be in a video on X even though Elon and his troll army have banned me from following or commenting."

Fans took it upon themselves to try to nail down the answer, tagging the platform's new owner, Elon Musk , and requesting , "Can you tell us the real reason why, Sir? 🤔."

Others cut straight to the chase, demanding that the he "Un ban ed kelce."

Ed doesn't seem too bent out of shape over the situation, though, as he returned to Facebook last night, Aug. 25, with a link to another article claiming he "bash[ing]" X over his account's permanent suspension.

"Let me try and clear something up here," he wrote, explaining that his primary use of Facebook and Instagram is to share articles mentioning his sons, for which he has a Google alert set, with the family's friends and relatives.

Similarly, he "rarely" posted on X, instead using it to follow sports reporters. "It's handy during games to hear what those guys have to say, particularly at stadiums where you don' [sic] have commentators the way you do watching on TV," he explained.

"Apparently the X Twits believe I posted something contrary to their rules...I'm guessing I was hacked, as the platform isn't all that secure," he added. "My comments when I started this conversation were merely to highlight the hypocrisy of these social media turds."
