Fans Are Crying ‘Tears of Joy’ for Angelina Jolie’s Daughter Zahara in Rare New Video From College

It's back to school for Zahara Jolie —and the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt appears to be getting into the swing of things with style.

The 19-year-old, who is a junior at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, showed off her dance skills in a video posted to TikTok on August 22, along with her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority sisters.

In the clip, Zahara and the other girls—all dressed in shades of green—danced to “Back Outside” by Anycia and Latto , and viewers couldn't get enough of the energetic performance.

"Tears of joy for Zahara," wrote one TikTok user.

"I swearrr I'm loving this for Zahara," agreed a second fan.

"Zahara Jolie slayyyyy," raved a third person.

Fans were thrilled when Zahara joined AKA, the first intercollegiate historically Black sorority, last year (past members include Phylicia Rashad , Kamala Harris , Robin Roberts , and Toni Morrison ). At the time, a video shared by Essence showed the student participating in a "crossing ceremony" to mark her entrance into the sorority.

“My name is Zahara Marley Jolie," she shouted to the crowd, pointedly dropping the "Pitt" from her last name for the occasion.

“Coming all the way from the Golden State in the city that is full of angels, Los Angeles, California...I am this line’s number seven.”

Zahara isn't the only one of Jolie and Pitt's children to stop using her father's surname. Earlier this month, Shiloh , 18, legally changed her last name to "Jolie," while Vivienne , 16, had her name written as "Vivienne Jolie" in the playbill for the Broadway play The Outsiders , which she worked on with her mom.
