Kardashian-Jenner Family Rejoices Over 'Perfect' New Family Member and First Photo

The Kardashian-Jenner family is rejoicing over a "perfect" new family member.

On Tuesday, Aug. 27, Caitlyn Jenner's son, Brandon , and his wife, Cayley , announced via Instagram they had welcomed a baby girl named Joan Almond Jenner .

"She's here!" the proud parents declared alongside a photo of their sleeping newborn daughter. "Born at home in a flash, just the most amazing experience for mama and baby girl."

After noting that baby Joan weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces, and measured 21.5 inches, the Jenners added, "Perfect little peanut, we couldn’t be more in love. And the kids are absolutely thrilled to have a baby sister. Welcome to our world, sweet baby love."

In addition to Joan, Brandon and Cayley share twin sons, Bo and Sam , 4. Brandon also shares a daughter, Eva , 8, with his ex, Leah James .

Instagram users showered the parents with love, with Brandon's sister, Kylie Jenner , notably sharing a red heart emoji.

Meanwhile, Brandon's brother Brody Jenner posted three red heart emojis, while Brody's fiancée, Tia Blanco , declared, "Welcome to the world perfect girl! ❤️ You are so, so loved!"

Brandon's other brother, Burt Jenner, wrote, "😍💕💖 well done @caylita_ ."

Caitlyn's ex-wife, Linda Thompson , also popped into the comments section.

"Crying… Already obsessed… Such a blessing!" she shared. "And such a beautiful tribute to the wonderful matriarch Joan Almond ! My family means absolutely everything to me! Congratulations on bringing more love into this world. I love y’all so much.🩷👶🏼."

Linda and Caitlyn were married from 1981 to 1985 and share sons Brandon and Brody. Additionally, Caitlyn shares Burt and a daughter, Cassandra Marino , with her first wife, Chrystie Scott . The former decathlon Olympic gold medalist also shares Kendall Jenner and Kylie with her third ex-wife, Kris Jenner .
