Usher has set off on his highly anticipated Past Present Future Tour, but recent footage of some concert moments has fans insisting they're being duped with a stand-in version of the R&B legend.

In one clip shared via TikTok on Aug. 23 from the Washington, D.C. show at Capital One Arena, the "You Got It Bad" crooner took center stage in an all-black outfit comprised of a glitzy short-sleeve top paired with oversized leather pants, a cap worn backward and sunglasses.

The singer-dancer extraordinaire can be seen theatrically shouting out his signature phrase, "Yeah!"—but fans noticed he chose a bit of a different musical tone than his usual.

As the snippet went on, viewers in the comment section were perplexed at many of the movements and voice keys of the 45-year-old singer, and many even took their speculation as far as to say that the performer on stage wasn't even the "real Usher."

"Yahhhh !! Wahn tew !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Is that usher?" one asked while poking fun, as another agreed, "😭😭😭😭 Who is this on stage?"

"Was Usher in the room with y’all 🧐," a third wondered.

Several more comments echoed the above sentiments, with a few reading, "yeaaaahhhuhhh 🤣🤣 nobody will convince me that's the real usher what is going on here🤣😞," "What Usher is this? I paid too much for my tickets 😂😂😂," and "This can’t be the same Usher I saw in Vegas 🤔."

"I keep watching to gain some clarity and I’m still not understanding 😂😂," another added.

"Ummm usher everything good? 😭😅," someone else wanted to know, while another TikTok user admitted, "Now yall got me thinking if that usher clone thing might be real."

One fan even continued to joke, "I’m genuinely concerned now 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂."

The eight-time Grammy winner recently had to halt his tour plans after revealing he suffered a neck injury, forcing him to postpone his three initial Atlanta shows.

"My hope was that with physical therapy and medical treatment, I would be able to overcome the injury and be ready for opening night," he explained in his Aug. 15 statement. "Unfortunately, the injury has not healed yet, and my doctors have instructed me not to perform any shows this week."

The mostly-sold-out Past Present Future Tour is headed to Oakland, Calif., next, where the longtime hitmaker will play two shows on Aug. 28 and 29.
