Rising star Chappell Roan is catching heat over her recent decision to cancel some of her European shows at the last minute.

Less than a week before she is scheduled to hit the stage in Paris and Amsterdam on Sept. 3 and Sept. 4, respectively, the "Good Luck, Babe!" singer announced that she had to cancel the shows as the result of "scheduling conflicts."

She also rescheduled a show in Berlin, initially scheduled for Sept. 7, to now take place on Sept. 23.

"Due to scheduling conflicts I have had to make the extremely hard decision to cancel my Paris and Amsterdam shows," she wrote via X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Aug. 29. "I am so very sorry & very disappointed.šŸ™"

Roan, 26, continued by telling fans, "I promise promise I will be back. Iā€™m heartbroken šŸ’” thank you for understanding"ā€”but many fans weren't buying it.

Tons of disappointed fans later took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice some criticism over Roan's announcement, with several people specifically angered over her reason for the cancellation.

"'Scheduling conflicts' just means you wanna do something else," someone on X pointed out, calling the musician's decision "very disappointing."

"Like literally how do you notice these 'scheduling conflicts' only TWO DAYS before," another person wanted to know.

"this tour has been planned many months ago. what could possibly mess with your schedule so badly that thousands of fans are left with atp nonrefundable travel costs. so unprofessional," another tweet read.

Others noted that Roan's last-minute cancellations could be due to the upcoming Video Music Awards, which are taking place in New York on Sept. 11.

"this is her first big awards show ever. shes allowed to wanna go. plus they invited her to perform too," someone wrote in defense of the "HOT TO GO!" singer.

Some also suggested that Roan's team might be behind the decision, rather than the artist personally making the decision.

But still, one fan tweeted, "ur team is a little messy for this."

Fans with tickets to the Amsterdam and Paris shows will be granted refunds, while tickets to the concert in Berlin will automatically transfer to the new date.
