Bridgerton and Wicked star Jonathan Bailey stars as paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis, seen with Johansson's Zora Bennett above. No word on if his character has any relation to Dr. Samuel Loomis from the Halloween franchise (which is also under the Universal umbrella), but we want to believe.

What is the Jurassic World Rebirth plot?
Taking place five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion , Jurassic World Rebirth follows Zora Bennett (Johansson) and her team as they try to extract genetic material from the three largest remaining dinosaurs on the planet in an effort to produce a potentially world-changing medicine. The team eventually encounters a civilian family, led by Reuben Delgado (Garcia-Rulfo), who were stranded when their boat capsized from aquatic dinosaurs. The groups all become stranded together on an island and encounter a truth that's been hidden from the world for decades.
Are any Jurassic World or Jurassic Park cast members returning for Jurassic World Rebirth ?
Not that we know of. So far no returning cast members from any of the Jurassic World or Jurassic Park movies have been announced. There could still be cameos though, so keep your eyes peeled.
Will Laura Dern be in Jurassic World Rebirth ?
There's been no indication so far that Laura Dern will be back for Jurassic World Rebirth , as Dr. Ellie Sattler. That said, she most recently appeared in Jurassic World Dominion , so it's possible!
Is Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic World Rebirth ?
As much as we'd all really love to see Dr. Ian Malcolm return (like he did for Dominion ), there haven't been any reports of Jeff Goldblum appearing in Jurassic World Rebirth . We can dream, though!

It's unknown if Dr. Alan Grant will appear in the latest sequel following his cameo in Jurassic World Dominion in 2022. Sam Neill recently underwent "brutal" chemotherapy for stage 3 blood cancer and is, thankfully, now in remission, according to The Guardian . His focus on his health may, quite understandably, make him pickier about his projects.
