Taco Bell fans are just days away from an opportunity to score one of the fast food chain’s most highly anticipated desserts of the year—but customers will need to take certain steps to make the treat theirs.

Taco Bell first unveiled a series of new dessert items inspired by its popular Baja Blast collaboration with Mountain Dew during a press event earlier this year in Las Vegas, Nev. In addition to a Baja Blast Pie and Baja Blast-flavored Cinnamon Twist Topping, Taco Bell announced plans to make a Baja Blast Gelato available to fans over the summer. The taco chain described its new gelato as a “creamy and delicious” treat “infused with the iconic MTN DEW BAJA BLAST Tropical Lime flavor” in a July 25 press release .

Taco Bell initially tested the special frozen dessert last August at a lone location in Irvine, Calif. Twelve months later, the gelato is now getting a nearly nationwide rollout starting on Tuesday, Sept. 3, though the July press release noted it will not be available to customers in Hawaii.

The gelato will only be available for Rewards Members to purchase, Taco Bell warned. Additionally, Rewards Members must use their Taco Bell app to score their gelato, which will be available “at participating U.S. Taco Bell locations for a limited time and while supplies last.”

Since Taco Bell has announced there will be “very limited quantities,” customers are also limited to four gelatos per order and will not be able to purchase the treat for delivery. As of Friday, Aug. 30, it was unclear exactly how long supplies of the gelato would last following the Sept. 3 release.

Snackolator urged Taco Bell fans not to “wait too long” to snap up their servings due to how quickly the Baja Blast Gelato is expected to sell out. In a Friday post on Instagram , the food blogger noted, “the current rumor is that each store has just 288 of these to sell,” though Taco Bell has not provided specific information on the volume of gelato available at participating locations.
