Aldi Is Selling Beautiful $8 Decorative Woven Baskets Similar to a Pottery Barn Style Over 6x the Price

This is not the first time that we’ve reported on aesthetically-pleasing home storage options (nor will it be the last). There’s just something so nice about having stylish baskets or bins that help organize our space. And this upcoming week, Aldi’s dropping some beautiful woven baskets that are great for decor and storage. Plus, they are so similar to a Pottery Barn style that’s over six times the price.

From Sept. 4 to Sept. 10, Aldi will be selling Huntington Home Decorative Woven Baskets for $7.99 in the Aldi Finds aisle of your local store. These pretty baskets are woven using water hyacinth in a braided pattern.

Huntington Home Decorative Woven Baskets , $7.99 at Aldi

Each side has “sturdy handles” for easy access (you can easily view inside if you need to and also carry it easily). These baskets also come in two sizing options: a single large or a 2-pack of small baskets. The large basket measures 15.4 inches long, 10.5 inches wide and 6.3 inches tall. The two small baskets measure 9 inches long, 6 inches wide and 6 inches tall, each.

Savannah Handwoven Seagrass Utility Baskets, Large, Single , $49.50 at Pottery Barn

Aldi’s new woven baskets are very similar to Pottery Barn’s Savannah Handwoven Seagrass Utility Baskets . They come in five different sizes, starting at $24.50, but the most comparable size is their large basket, which is $49.50. It measures 15.75 inches wide, 13 inches deep and 10.75 inches tall, making it nearly the same size, just almost twice the height.

As the name suggests, these baskets are made out of handwoven Savannah seagrass, with a wire for the frame. While it’s not the same exact material—and it’s not braided but woven throughout the basket—Aldi’s basket is still very similar.

Hand Woven Rectangular Wicker Baskets (2 Pack), Juvale , $54.99 at Kohl's

Yet another product that Aldi’s baskets rival is Juvale’s Hand Woven Rectangular Wicker Baskets (2 Pack) sold at Kohl’s for $54.99. These baskets are sold in their marketplace, so shoppers can only purchase them online. They have almost the same braided look as Aldi’s woven baskets and are also made with water hyacinth. Each basket in this two-pack measures 12.75 inches long, 7.5 inches wide and 6 inches tall, which is slightly longer than the small baskets in Aldi’s two-pack.

With those comparisons that are quite a bit more expensive, Aldi’s Huntington Home Decorative Woven Baskets are a good choice for people who want that look in their storage baskets but don’t want to spend too much money on them.
