‘Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drummond’s Daughter Alex Reveals Elegant Nursery and Baby Bump in New Photos

Ree Drummond’s oldest daughter, Alex , treated fans to an inside look at the nursery and photos of her baby bump in anticipation of her first child’s arrival.

Alex, 27, shared the snapshots as part of an August photo dump on Instagram she posted on Sunday, Sept. 1.

“August was a good one! ☀️💕,” she wrote to caption the 10-part Instagram carousel, which included selfies she took with husband Mauricio Scott , photos from their recent summer getaway and snapshots of their golden retriever.

The fourth snap in the series showed Mauricio giving the camera a thumbs up while standing in their home’s new nursery, decorated with pink walls featuring images of birds perched upon the spindly branches of flower- and fruit-bearing trees. A couple of pillows were positioned on the ground, one of which read, “Thank heaven for little girls.”

Meanwhile, other shots showed Alex's baby bump during an ultrasound appointment and while wearing an orange dress while posing with her husband.

Several of the couple’s fans gushed over the nursery photo in the post’s comment section, with one person exclaiming, “the nursery pic! 🎀🎀🎀🎀.”

“Love the wallpaper! Love it love it!!” another fan wrote.

“OMG her room is GORGEOUS,” one Instagram user commented as another agreed and offered a name idea: “Love her room❣️💖 ‘August’, would be a cute name for her❣️.”

Alex and Mauricio announced their pregnancy on Instagram in late June. Shortly afterward, they shared an adorable gender reveal video on the social media platform, revealing they are expecting a baby girl.

In addition to their official updates, Alex has been vulnerable with her followers on her Instagram Stories, providing both the happy moments and struggles she has encountered along her pregnancy journey.

The Pioneer Woman host has spoken honestly about becoming a first-time grandmother. Though Drummond, 55, admitted she wasn’t “necessarily in a big rush to enter the grandparent stage” in a June interview with People , she is “so happy” that her oldest daughter is preparing to become a mom herself.
