Richard Gere Literally Bows Down to Wife Alejandra Silva in Glamorous Red Carpet Photos

Richard Gere was the ultimate hype man during his latest red carpet appearance.

While hitting up the 2024 Venice Film Festival in Italy with wife Alejandra Silva , the actor was not shy to show the world just how much he adores her.

The Pretty Woman actor, who was dressed to the nines in a classic black suit and bow tie, could be seen kneeling on the red carpet in front of Silva, who looked glamorous in an all-white ensemble featuring a stylish gown with a thigh-high slit.

Gere was literally bowing down to Silva, his wife of 6 years, in photos from the premiere on Sunday, Sept. 1, as she smiled and humbly accepted the sweet gesture.

Gere, who just celebrated his 75th birthday on Saturday, Aug. 31, appeared to be hyping up his wife all night while attending the movie premiere.

At another point during their red carpet photo-op, the Officer and a Gentleman star could be seen joining the groups of paparazzi as he instructed them to snap some shots of Silva, 41.

"A real gentleman !!!" The look of love ❤️," one user on Instagram wrote in the comments of a video showing the actor gazing lovingly at his wife as she dazzled on the red carpet.

Someone else called it "absolutely adorable" how much Gere "adores his wife."

"So wonderful he only has eyes for her," another commenter added. "This is how a man should be. Bravo."

"Love that guy always the best," someone else chimed in, while another user applauded "that charm" Gere is known and loved for.
