Pink Breaks Character As She Flies off Course During Aerial Stunt: ‘Great Catch’

Pink is a total pro when it comes to belting out her hits while flying through the air of her performance venue, but it looks like things almost went off the rails during a recent concert in Massachusetts during her Summer Carnival Tour.

During her opening song, “Get the Party Started,” the performer drops down from the top of the stadium using a safety harness attached to a pair of bungee cords. She does a series of aerial tricks before two of her dancers, secured upside down to a set piece above her, catch her.

But, in a new video from her concert at Gillette Stadium late last week, it seems that she almost flew off course during the stunt work, bursting into laughter once the pair had a secure hold of her and telling the second one, who had a hold of her leg, “Great catch!” in between lines of the classic track.

She continues on with the song as one of the dancers appears to untangle her leg from the mechanism to allow her to get into the proper position for the next round of tricks, eventually leading her to fully break, having to pause as she laughs again mid-lyric.

The whole thing was so smooth that if she hadn't said anything, we may have never known that one of the dancers seemingly almost didn't catch her, and fans were, as always, delighted by the "unreal" performance she put on.

"Narrator: She did, in fact, get the party started," one commenter joked on TikTok, while another dubbed her "the Coolest."

"Two things are always for sure. Water is wet, and Pink will be flipping at her concert," another viewer joked.

But, while Pink makes everything she does look easy, Danny O'Donoghue , the frontman of her opening band The Script, proved it's not when he took the rig for a spin , admitting to having "so much more respect" for her after experiencing it firsthand.
