If you were to zoom out and look at the types of products that are released in a year, you might start to notice patterns you’re otherwise oblivious to. For example, it’s expected that spring and summer launches and recipes are lighter, fruiter, more vibrant and fun (like these viral watermelon fries ). Speckled throughout the season, you might get a returning item here and there, but more often than not, new products get a chance to make a splash during the warmer months before cooler weather sets in and everything changes.

While the latter half of the year also sees its fair share of new products and goodies, flavors tend to lean towards familiar nostalgia versus, innovative and groundbreaking. Warm earthy spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice take the forefront and play backup to ingredients like apples , pumpkin and cranberry. Things like the iconic PSL and Costco’s massive pumpkin pie make their return, and we anxiously await word that Trader Joe’s has officially kicked off Pumpkin Palooza . You get the idea. Of course, as the old adage goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” and we tend to agree.

Speaking of returning favorites, @samsclubmembers shared that Sam’s Club just brought back their delicious Pumpkin Spice Cake Balls , and shoppers are racing to the warehouse to stock up their freezer. Each container features 24 two-bite cake balls made of moist pumpkin spiced cake and topped with orange and white candy melts. Better than their cutesy looks, though, is the incredible price of $18.98 for the entire container, which works out to just about $.80 per cake ball.

Not that we needed any convincing, but if these are up your alley, you might want to make a trip to your nearest Sam’s Club pronto. “Please don’t tell everyone how good they are because then they will sell out too soon!🤣🤣🤣,” pleaded one adoring fan. "So good. Perfect with coffee,” recommended another.

So, what are you waiting for? We’ve got a Great Pumpkin to catch, Charlie Brown .
