'Selling Sunset' is Returning for Season 8–With a New Agent!

A new season of Selling Sunset is hitting the market! The realtors of The Oppenheim Group are back for an "explosive" eighth season...and according to Netflix , "the stakes are higher than a penthouse view."

Jason Oppenheim , owner of the O Group, has teased on Instagram that the season is "intensely memorable for so many reasons, with new people and new dynamics, and filled with the most insane homes we’ve ever filmed."

The new season debuts on September 6.

Who returned for Season 8 of Selling Sunset ?

Chrishell Stause , Mary Fitzgerald , Emma Hernan , Chelsea Lazkani , Amanza Smith , Bre Tiesi and Nicole Young all returned for the eighth season, along with Jason and Brett Oppenheim .

Is there a new agent on Selling Sunset Season 8?

There is a new realtor at the O Group this season: Alanna Gold . "There was a little bit of hesitation there of course, and just thinking about how it will change my life," Alanna told PEOPLE of joining the show. "It was this big shift and I really had to evaluate."

She continued, "I did go through all of the emotions, but at the end of the day I was like, ‘what is life for?’ Just put yourself out there and take opportunities as they come."

Is there a trailer for Season 8 of Selling Sunset ?

The official trailer for Season 8 dropped on Aug. 13. While the realtors cheers to "moving forward, good mojo and new beginnings," in the trailer, there is plenty of new drama.

"I heard information that could really affect families, marriages," Nicole says. Later, someone tells Bre, "I did hear something about Chelsea's husband."

After a meeting with Bre, the trailer cuts to an emotional Chelsea telling the camera, "I don't want to do this. I can't do this."

What will happen in Season 8 of Selling Sunset ?

The official synopsis for the new seasons reads: "The realtors of The Oppenheim Group return for an explosive eighth season with over-the-top listings and high-stakes drama as they navigate love, betrayal and loyalty both inside and outside the brokerage."

Ahead of the premiere, Netflix released a clip showing Bre meeting with Chelsea to discuss a rumor about the latter's then-husband, Jeff Lazkani . In the sneak peek, Bre tells Chelsea that a friend of her friend Amanda saw Jeff "making out" in the lobby of the W Hotel in Hollywood with "some girl."

"I just wanted to come to you woman to woman because I've been here. I was married, my husband was doing the same thing, multiple women. And I know you don't necessarily care for me, but like I wouldn't wish this on you or anyone ever," Bre said. "I've seriously been there, and it's awful. But, regardless, it was brought up. She said it, and I feel like you have the right to know."

It was reported in March that Chelsea had filed for divorce from her husband Jeff, citing irreconcilable differences. Two days before the Season 8 premiere, Chelsea claimed on X (formerly Twitter) : "Bre brought her racist friend on the show to try to ruin me. Never met the Amanda girl a day in my life but her & Bre in her words wanted to ‘take me down’. I took the scene because it was already a storyline. It was all premeditated, I just handled it the best way I could."

Meanwhile, Chrishell has posted a "disclaimer" for this season. In screenshots obtained by Queens of Bravo , the Selling Sunset star wrote on her Instagram Story: "Disclaimer when you watch: just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE."

During an interview with Extra ’s Billy Bush , Chrishell spoke about an alleged lie spread about her friend and costar Emma. Discussing Nicole, Chrishell said, "The only time she’s ever made headlines is trying to take down me and now Emma, so you know, she’s trying to do the same playbook she did before. It’s unfortunate that she was given the platform to do it again and Emma not be given the chance to defend herself because, as you will see now with the receipts that are coming out, it’s so blatantly untrue."

Chrishell revealed that on the new season of Selling Sunset, they did "a lot of deals and a lot of things" that she's "super proud," but said, "Unfortunately, this is my best friend, so it overshadows a lot. I just think it’s a dangerous lie to tell about someone when you knew it wasn’t true and you were told in writing that it wasn’t true."
