Little Debbie oatmeal cream pies are my favorite snack cakes. I just love the two soft oatmeal cookies with a sweet, creamy filling sandwiched between them, the blend of brown sugar , cinnamon and vanilla flavors, the chewy texture of the cookies and the fluffy cream. They're the perfect little treat!

Recently, I saw that content creator @its_sogood (real name Miriam) made those Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies even better and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. She whipped up some Oatmeal Cream Pie doughnuts that look amazing! I can't wait to try these at home.

To make them, she uses a wine bottle cap (not a cork) to make a hole in the center of the cream pies. (You can also use a metal measuring spoon or a bottle cap from whatever you have in your kitchen.) Once they all had a hole in the center, she froze them for 30 minutes.

While the pies were freezing, Miriam whipped up some pancake batter and heated some oil in a deep pan. She took the frozen cream pies and dipped them in the pancake batter, then fried them like you would a doughnut.

After they were done, she placed them on a wire rack to cool. Then, she made a glaze with butter, milk, powdered sugar and Cognac (you can skip that part or swap it out for a splash of Coca-Cola). She drizzled the Oatmeal Cream Pies with the glaze and they were ready to be devoured, because how else would you eat these? They look too good to just have one!

"See, I was eating healthy. Not I gotta eat this—for balance," someone commented. Life is all about balance, and it's too short to skip the good foods.

"Spectacular. Give me 14 of them right now," another person said. We'd eat these by the dozen and still want more!

"Oh come one! Right on time for Saturday morning breakfast with the kids," someone chimed in. I'd love to make these for my kids, but I'm afraid I'd eat them all!

Someone asked if this same method could be used to make Moon Pie doughnuts or Honey Bun doughnuts, and we love the creativity! These would also be great drizzled with a chocolate glaze or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
