Target Is Selling a Cute $25 Sling Bag Similar to an Anthropologie Style Over 3x the Price and Shoppers Say It's the 'Perfect Size'

But it has to look good in photographs too. With all that in mind, Target has a good sling bag that checks those boxes and then some. Plus it looks like an Anthropologie style that’s over three times the price.

Target’s Sling Pack Handbag is part of Universal Thread’s bag collection and is currently only $25. It has a soft triangle shape with a taller back than the main compartment. It comes with one thick strap that can completely detach. The three corners of this purse have D-rings so you can attach the strap however you want. You could even purchase separate straps, if you wanted, to make a backpack. But as-is, it’s a good crossbody bag.

Sling Pack Handbag - Universal Thread , $25 at Target

There’s a visible zippered pocket in the front of this sling bag, but there’s a main zippered compartment as well. Within that main compartment there are separate sections, and in front, there’s a non-zippered compartment that closes with a button. This Universal Thread bag comes in three different colors: black, green and off-white. They all have gold hardware and a two-colored strap. And they’re made from polyurethane to create a faux leather look.

The reviews are promising, with 33 ratings and reviews giving the bag 5 stars. One shopper wrote that it was “lightweight” and the “perfect size for traveling!" Another person said that they “love everything about this bag” and another loves “they way this sling bag hangs!”

The design is very similar; it’s a somewhat triangular shape with a hook that keeps the front closed. It also has a main zippered compartment with a buttoned compartment in front of it. One of the first main differences is the fact that Anthropologie’s bag doesn’t have an outside zippered pocket in the front. Also, the strap has a pattern on it rather than just being two solid colors. It comes in two colors, brown and “assorted” (black).

Interesting enough considering the price, this bag isn’t made from real leather; it’s made from polyurethane, just like Target’s. But in terms of sizing, it is a little bigger; it measures 12 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 3 inches deep.

For a similar bag made with the same materials, Target’s Sling Pack Handbag is a pretty good deal for anyone looking for a good travel purse or versatile sling handbag.
