Aldi Is Selling $10 'Water Resistant' Chelsea Rain Boots Similar to Hunter Boots 14x the Price

Having a good pair of rain boots is kind of a necessity especially if you live somewhere that has four seasons (or somewhere that’s particularly rainy). But you might not want to spend a ton of money on this type of footwear because they’re not something you wear every day. If you need affordable rain boots, though, Aldi’s upcoming Aldi Finds has a pair of Chelsea rain boots that are as cute as they are useful. Plus, they look a lot like styles from Hunter Boots and Steve Madden that are up to 14 times the price.

From Sept. 11 to Sept. 17, Aldi is selling Serra Ladies Chelsea Rain Boots for only $9.99. Chelsea boots have a certain look to them and these Aldi rain boots fit within that design: it’s an ankle-length boot with elastic side panels that are pretty narrow or fitted. This one even has a little heel, though nothing crazy-high.

Serra Ladies Chelsea Rain Boots , $9.99 at Aldi

Like most Chelsea boots, these have a loop at the back to help pull them on because they’re such a snug fit around the ankles. Aldi’s Chelsea rain boots come in three colors: black, rose and ivory, and they’re available in women’s sizes 7 to 10. As you’d want with any rain boot, these are water-resistant, plus they have a cushioned insole for added comfort.

Women's Original Chelsea Boots , $140 at Hunter Boots

As we mentioned above, these Aldi boots look like other styles from popular brands like Hunter Boots’ Women's Original Chelsea Boots , which are $140. They come in a wide variety of colors and sizes, including black and a couple of shades of pink, and they're made with natural rubber and are waterproof.

Steve Madden Women's Sahara Rain Boot , $59.62+ on Amazon

Another more stylish rain boot—with a more similar silhouette and design to Aldi’s—is Steve Madden Women's Sahara Rain Boot , which starts at $59.62 on Amazon. It comes in bone (which is a cream or off-white) and a nice glossy black. These have more of a platform base (a 1.25-inch platform and 2-inch heel, to be exact), and they’re made with synthetic and textile upper material. So even though these are rain boots, they’re definitely made with style in mind and might be a boot you grab on more than just rainy days.

With all that said, Aldi’s Serra Ladies Chelsea Rain Boots are a great choice if you’re looking for cute and useful rain boots that don’t cost more than $10. And while they’re no Hunter Boots, they should keep your feet dry if you splash in some shallow puddles.
