If there's one thing you can count on when walking through Costco's doors, it's getting yourself a good deal. The popular warehouse is known for providing customers with everything from delicious bakery finds to quality kitchen items , all at an unbeatable price. And while the latter usually features lower priced versions of your favorite brands or one-off deals on those brands, there's one big name deal that sent shoppers into a frenzy last year when it debuted—and it's set to do the same again this year.

Those who were lucky enough to get their hands on Le Creuset's massive 157-piece set at Costco last year are probably still working their way through using every single item that was included. If you missed that train (or just have some extra coins to give up this year), though, the deal is back—and apparently, it's better than before.

Previously served up in a bright red option and selling for $4,500, this year, the set is now available in Le Creuset's Marseille Blue colorway and features a whopping 170 pieces. But of course, with the additional 13 pieces, there comes an increase in price. And that price is a killer $499.99 extra.

Although the set—which arrives to you in six boxes on a pallet—is quite a steal, a few shoppers didn't have the same sentiment after finding out about its return on the dedicated Costco Reddit thread .

"Like 80% of the things in this kit aren't very useful for most," quipped one person. "Lots of garbage stuff in there and like 15 good pieces," said another.

One of the biggest complaint, however, seems to be the color choice for this year's massive drop. "Ugh why blue 😮‍💨," one person complained, while another said, "The only, and I mean ONLY thing that is stopping me is that it's not in my color."

But even with the complaints, the big question for the thread was: Is this worth the money spent? Well, according to one Redditor who did the math, it absolutely is.

"I used pre-discount prices on Le Creuset, though, and it came out to be $8,908," they mentioned.

This would mean you're getting a savings of nearly $4,000 for the set, opposed to buying them separately. And for those of you that are doing the math, that would also mean that each piece in the collection would come out to be roughly $29. A stark difference when you consider how much one piece from Le Creuset can cost on its own.

So, if you have an extra $5,000 to throw out for yourself as a little early Christmas gift—or are super nice and want to gift it to someone else—you may want to jump on this deal as soon as you can. If it's anything like last year's deal, it's guaranteed to sell out quick.
