Football fans—not to mention Swifties—know that Travis Kelce loves fashion. But does fashion love him back?

Melissa Rivers , daughter of iconic comedian and Fashion Police host Joan Rivers , discussed the former Kansas City Chief tight end's wardrobe with "Virtual Reali-tea" hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy this week, also sharing what she thought her mother's opinion on the subject would have been—and her assessment was characteristically blunt.

"I don't love his fashion choices," Melissa said.

"He borders on fashion victim," she continued. "It's not a burn, women do that all the time too, that you're so entrenched with 'of the moment' that it doesn't matter how it looks, it's of the moment, of the moment, of the moment, and not like a lot of personal style."

"He's not used to being styled at this new level," Murphy suggested.

"But he's been doing that for awhile, he's been a fashion—a high fashion guy, like he's wearing stuff that's on the runway," Melissa argued.

As for what Joan might have said about Kelce's outfits, Melissa said she "wouldn't be happy" with them.

"She liked men to dress very traditionally, if they were gonna be more creative, be it in more of an elegant way," Melissa explained, going on to say she "can't wait until the first time we see him in a beautiful, proper tuxedo."

This wasn't the first time Melissa said that her mom wouldn't have approved of Kelce's style. In May, she told DailyMail.com that she thought Joan "would hate how Travis dresses."

"I can tell you that point blank and her whole thing is like, 'When is [Taylor Swift] going to get in his closet.' That would be her acceptance that this is a real relationship, any mother would believe it then," she said.

Melissa imagined that Joan might have told Swift, "Honey, I know you love him, now let’s redress him."
