As Tyrion Lannister on Game of Thrones , Peter Dinklage delivered the famous line: "I drink and I know things." Now it seems the actor knows a thing or two about Taylor Swift , as he revealed in a podcast.

On an episode of Andrew Schulz's Flagrant with Akaash Singh , Dinklage said that as a father-of-two, the "Fortnight" singer often comes up as a topic of conversation in his house. (The 55-year-old star has a daughter born in 2011 and a son born in 2017, though he's never publicly revealed their names. He shares both children with wife Erica Schmidt .)

"Taylor Swift, I can tell you anything about Taylor Swift, 'cause I'm in it deep," Dinklage admitted.

"Culturally, Taylor Swift is huge, she's everywhere," he continued. "But I also go, what about Nirvana? What about The Beatles? What about this? What about that? But it's like, Taylor all the way."

Still, he added that his "son loves Nirvana."

"I'm like, thank God, and we blast Nirvana in the car when we're together. And I think it's like, oh my God, it's what people were like with like, The Beatles, the old parents were like, what is that stuff?"

Dinklage went on to say that he recognized and appreciated Swift's significance.

"But she's really something," he continued. "Pop music can be a little bit bubblegum, but they've put some real genius behind it, which is smart."

Swifties on social media were quick to claim Dinklage as one of their own.

"Peter dinklage the Taywarrior that you are," an X user captioned a clip from the podcast interview.

"Sansa and Tyrion, the head Swifties of Game of Thrones ," wrote one commenter, referring to Sophie Turner , one of Swift's closest friends, who played Sansa Stark in GoT .

"Tyrion Lannister supremacy," agreed a second person.

"Love this man," declared a third fan.
