'My Big Fat Fabulous Life's Whitney Thore Issues a Direct Response to Pregnancy Speculation

My Big Fat Fabulous Life star Whitney Thore is setting the record straight following pregnancy speculation.

On Sept. 12, Thore, 40, took to Instagram with a carousel of pictures from a photoshoot recently featured on the TLC series. The reality TV personality looked radiant in all of them—but the third snap caught followers' attention.

Evidently, many fans sent messages wondering if she was expecting a baby because of the way her legs were positioned under the green dress.

Thore returned to Instagram on Sept. 13 to set the record straight, writing, "I’ve been bombarded with people asking if I’m pregnant in this photo or what’s under my dress. It’s just my knees, y’all. 🤣 Definitely still not pregnant…for now!"

In the comments, fans shared support for Thore, with one Instagram user writing, "It’s very clearly your knee. People need to use whatever brain cells they have left before commenting on anything.'

Another commented, "Girl you look beautiful!! People always have something to say regardless but keep doing you 🙌."

Meanwhile, someone else shared, "I find it incredibly rude for somebody to ask if you are pregnant. If they have WATCHED the show, they should know what you go through!"

Thore, who has polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), has expressed a desire to one day have kids. She previously had her eggs frozen in the hopes of having children with a partner in the future.

However, single motherhood is not an endeavor she would (intentionally) pursue.

"It's not something I feel comfortable going into single—and especially at this age and single," she told Parade during an exclusive interview in July. "You know, I could envision my life possibly without a child. I cannot imagine my life without a partner."

Thore continued: "I have a lot of cats, and I have all this extended family now...There are some things I think that could fill that void. But I definitely do want a partner. And I'm just not confident going into something like single motherhood. I'm not confident doing that on purpose."
