Stars...they're just like us, even when they're on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards.

Ayo Edebiri was  nominated for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for her work in The Bear , but that didn't stop her from turning into a total fan girl when she ran into Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman before the ceremony.

In a clip shared to Instagram by E! News , Edebiri reacted with apparent shock when she saw the former costars from the sitcom Reba , saying, "Oh my god!"

Commenters found the celeb-on-celeb encounter super relatable.

"Ayo is all of us," wrote one Instagram user.

"Ayo is me 😂 standing in front of icons like whattt," agreed a second person.

Other fans gushed over the star's award show style.

" @ayoedebiri ’s gown is exquisite!" raved another person, with someone else saying they "love her dress."

Edebiri, who stunned viewers in a strapless sequined Bottega Veneta gown, was also sought out by fellow A-listers, however. While attending the Emmy Awards, Parade spotted the actress navigating the red carpet flawlessly, especially considering she was stopped every few feet by someone asking to take a photo with her. When the final carpet call was announced, people didn’t even ask for pics anymore—they just started holding out their cameras, putting them into selfie mode and sneaking their own photos of her.

While Hacks star Jean Smart took home the award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, there's no question that Edebiri was a smash hit at the Emmys!
