One of the crowd-favorite moments from Lainey Wilson 's "Country's Cool Again" tour has been the point in every show when she takes a little girl from the audience up onstage to crown her " cowgirl of the night ."

So it was no surprise when the country star took to Instagram on Sunday, Sept. 15 to celebrate National Day of the Cowgirl with a video montage from numerous concerts showing young fans receiving the honor—along with a cowboy hat.

"Say I am beautiful, I am smart, I am talented, I can do anything...and I am cowgirl of the night," Wilson addressed each child in the clip.

"Being a cowgirl is much more than throwin’ on a cowgirl hat and saying 'y’all,'" Wilson captioned her post.

"Cowgirls are courageous, confident, hard-working and kind. All things I strive to be every single day. It’s a mentality that I want to pass down to the younger cowgirls who come after me, and crowning a cowgirl of the night has been my own way of sharing that night after night. To each of my ‘cowgirls of the night,’ it’s meant so much to have these moments on the road with y’all. Happy National Day of the Cowgirl."

Commenters raved about the sweet footage.

"This right here is why we love you so much! Lainey, you are inspiring the next generation and are such an amazing role model for young girls," wrote one fan.

"The next generation of COWGIRLS," added another.

"My baby girl is in the video. You are such an inspiration! Thank you for providing these special moments for these special girls ❤️❤️," gushed a third person, with someone else thanking Wilson for "being such an inspiration for so many aspiring young cowgirls & farm girls, like my two!!!"

Wilson started her music career at a young age herself, as she told Jimmy Fallon on a recent episode of The Tonight Show —singing anywhere and everywhere she could.

"I’ve heard stories that you used to perform in a Walmart in the aisles," Fallon said.

"I would play anywhere that they let me play," Wilson admitted. "I’m talking about nursing homes, flatbed trailers."

"Anywhere that—My parents would be like ‘Hey, Lainey, sing that song you just wrote last week for anybody,' and I’d just do it."

Wilson then shared how growing up in a super small town helped inspire her to become a songwriter.

"I wrote my first song at 9 years old and I got bit by the bug," the "Hang Tight Honey" songstress said.

"I think it's because I'm from a town of 180 people, Baskin, Louisiana—little speed trap. But where I'm from, being such a small community, we sit around and we tell stories and we listen to stories, and we hear the same ones over and over again, but they get better every single time you hear them."
