The holidays are just around the corner, and M&M's is getting ready to spread some cheer with its latest seasonal release!

The new candy drop was revealed via Instagram by food blogs Snackolator and Snack Betch, who both took to their accounts to share photos and details about the upcoming treat.

"These sound amazing! M&M's is dropping new Toasty Holiday Peanut M&M's for the holidays and the flavors are absolutely calling my name!" Snackolator admitted in its introduction of the chocolate candies on Monday, Sept. 16.

Both social media uploads unveiled the seasonal new flavor, which will be sold in tan-colored packaging featuring the yellow M&M dressed as a nutcracker. The character held a tray of "holiday nuts," which may look to be just plain peanuts from the illustration, but are explained as anything but boring.

"These are not just traditional peanut M&M's, but feature cinnamon, vanilla, spiced sugar, and caramel flavors - kind of like those candied peanuts you get with those warm, holiday goodness," Snackolator's caption promised of the sweet snack.

After news of the release, shoppers poured into the comment section of Snack Betch's Sept. 15 post with reactions.

"I'm so excited. I hope I can get them here in Ontario," one said, while another gushed, "Ooohhh I love toasty things ❤️."

"Oh yes 🔥," someone else wrote, with an additional Instagram user admitting, "These sound pretty good 👏👏."

While there is currently no official timeframe of when the Toasty Holiday Peanut M&M's are expected to hit store shelves, the post did provide a bit of insight on a potential drop: "TBD on release date but these are already listed on Walmarts website so hopefully we will see them soon."
