'Married at First Sight's Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner Announce Birth of Twins With Sweet Photos: 'Feels Like a Dream'

Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner of Married at First Sight officially welcomed their identical twin boys , Huxley James and Hawkins Tyler —expanding their family from four to six members.

The couple shared the exciting news on social media, revealing to the world in a Friday, Sept. 20 Instagram Story that the babies had arrived. "This feels like a dream..I genuinely have identical twins!! I literally prayed for this," Otis wrote.

Otis noted that the twins "held hands instantly," sharing more of the boys' birth story with PEOPLE . According to the outlet, Hawkins was born first, at 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, in Sarasota, Fla., weighing 6 lbs., 4 oz. and measuring 19.9 inches long. Huxley followed shortly after, with a little more complicated birth–a breech delivery–but he eventually made his big debut at 6:08 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, and weighed 6 lbs., 8 oz., measuring 19.7 inches long. Mom told the outlet both she and the babies are strong and healthy.

"All the nurses and doctors have been amazing," Otis added.

Fans knew it wouldn't be long before Huxley and Hawkins were born when Otis shared an exciting update early Sept. 18. She posted a video of herself in the hospital room with her husband sitting nearby, writing, "Can’t believe this is happening - I’m 7cm! The twinnies are coming soon! 🤰❤️🙏#GodisGood #thankfulgratefulblessed."

On her Instagram Stories, she also shared a clip from the hospital, saying, "It's go time," before revealing that she initially thought it was going to be a "false alarm" and they'd have to return to the hospital again later.

"I just can't believe it. Here we go!" she concluded. Soon enough, the babies were safely delivered and officially introduced to her followers.

Huxley and Hawkins join their older siblings, a sister named Henley , 7, and a brother named Hendrix , 4. Henley and Hendrix appeared very excited to meet their baby brothers, helping Otis and Hehner reveal their names in a fun video released a few days before Otis headed to the hospital to give birth.

Otis and Hehner shared the news that they were expecting again in February after three years of past fertility struggles.

When they first revealed their latest pregnancy, Hehner was honest about his feelings after what they'd been through in the past, saying, "I am cautiously optimistic and just hoping for the best at this point...When you go through some losses, whether you're a dad, or a mom, or expecting, you relive those moments. And you don't want to think about it, but you prepare."

Thankfully, everything went well while Otis was pregnant with Huxley and Hawkins, and the family now has two healthy baby boys. Congratulations!
