Cheetos Brings New Flavor to the US From Canada—and Fans Are 'Here for It'

Snack lovers who enjoy Cheetos are getting hyped up about a new flavor expected to be available soon to customers in the U.S.

The flavor in question has already been tested in Canada but has never before made it onto grocery store shelves in the States, according to Snackolator.

The food blogger posted a preview of the forthcoming Cheetos Puffs Cheese Pizza bag of snacks on Instagram on Thursday, Sept. 26. The bag showed the brand’s mascot, Chester Cheetah, wearing a white chef uniform, matching hat and his signature black sunglasses while holding a slice of cheese pizza in one paw and an orange cheese puff in another.

The new “Pizza Cheetos” are “coming soon,” according to the preview image that Snackolator shared with fans online. The food blogger estimated that they would likely be available for American customers to purchase “in the next few months,” though the brand had not announced a specific date at the time of Thursday’s reveal.

A few Cheetos fans who have had previous opportunities to test out the Cheetos Puffs Cheese Pizza flavor said it is “good stuff,” with one person boldly declaring, “These are the best Cheetos I've ever had.”

Another fan noted the puffs “have a great taste” but bemoaned how quickly they grew stale after the bag was opened.

Most fans who commented on Snackolator’s preview had not tried the puffs themselves but seemed eager for a taste test. “Oooh, these look so good,” one fan wrote as another agreed they "Sounds real good actually.”

“Color me interested,” one person commented while another decided they “definitely will try it.”

“I’m here for it too😍😂,” an Instagram user echoed.

Despite the general enthusiasm, some Instagram users were disappointed that Cheetos plans to introduce a new pizza-flavored snack before other flavors of interest to U.S. customers.

A bag of "extra hot cheeto puffs with lime is all I want,” one person shared.
