Mama Kelce Makes a Bold Admission About Travis Amid His Relationship With Taylor Swift

Donna Kelce provided some insight into how her younger son Travis is handling the spotlight now that he has dated pop superstar Taylor Swift for more than a year.

Donna, who is affectionately known as “Mama Kelce” among fans of Travis and his former NFL star brother Jason , said Travis seems to be on “top of the world” during a recent interview with Extra .

“It just seems like his life is on a trajectory that just is rising every single day,” Donna told the media outlet, adding that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end seems to be trying something new “every time I turn around.”

“He’s just having his best life right now,” she said.

Travis, 34, was used to fame before he began dating the “Cruel Summer” songstress due to his years with the Chiefs, but their relationship took that fame to a whole new level.

Rumors about their romance began spreading in September 2023 after Swift, also 34, was spotted attending a Chiefs game in person. She went on to attend several more games during the 2023 season, even cheering Travis on when his team surged to its second consecutive Super Bowl victory back in February. She also attended the Chiefs’ first two official games of the 2024 NFL season.

Travis similarly traveled to support Swift this year as she brought her hit international Eras Tour overseas. He even made an onstage cameo at one of her Wembley Stadium shows in London, England, in June. It was during that tour stop in London that Travis met Prince William , Prince George and Princess Charlotte , an experience he later told his mom was "probably one of the coolest” he’s had yet.

When asked if she has ever noticed Travis appearing overwhelmed by all of the attention he now receives, Donna indicated she hasn’t noticed any obvious signs of stress.

“He’s always been one to be, you know, in the limelight,” she told Extra . Travis “loves attention,” she said, adding that he is “always dancing, always joking around, always having fun things done.”

“He has a zest for life,” she said.
