Starbucks launched a new Iced Energy drink in June, which was perfect for summer, but the coffee chain doesn't seem to slowing down now that the temps have dropped and people are reaching for warm beverages . According to content creator @snackolator , Starbucks is releasing a ready-to-drink Iced Energy option in stores soon.

"These were announced for the upcoming NACS show (National Association of Convenience Stores) and I am not sure what flavors each option will be in, but the Iced Energy drinks are based on the in-store line and are zero sugar. So far they've listed Tropical Peach," Snackolator said in the caption of his Instagram post.

That means that while we know about one flavor, there may be more coming! Unfortunately, we don't have an official release date, so you'll just have to keep your eyes peeled.

The Iced Energy drinks that Starbucks had in their coffee shops had up to 205 milligrams of caffeine, which is equivalent to drinking six and a half 12-ounce cans of Coca-Cola. There's no official word on how much caffeine the ready-to-drinks Iced Energy drinks will have, but the image that Snackolator shared of the can showed that the Tropical Peach flavor has 160 milligrams of caffeine. (The Food and Drug Administration says that healthy adults can generally consume up to 400 milligrams of caffeine per day, which is the equivalent to about four or five cups of coffee.)

The original lineup of Iced Energy drinks came in three flavors, including Melon Burst and Tropical Citrus, which could be found in Starbucks locations, and a Frozen Tropical Citrus Iced Energy with Strawberry Puree, which was a limited-time drink exclusive to the app. The new drinks will be available in stores, not in Starbucks locations.

The fruity energy drink was a success during the summer, but will it be popular in the cooler months?

Definitely excited for the tropical peach energy drink!" someone commented on Scakolator's post.

"I've never tried the Starbucks energy drink, looking forward to that flavor," another person added.

"I wonder if this will be similar to their discontinued energy drink?" another commenter asked. At one point, Starbucks produced the energy drink Baya, but it was discontinued due to low sales.

I guess we'll have to just wait and see. Your move, Starbucks.
