IHOP 's fall menu is getting some spooky new additions featuring none other than some of the most popular Halloween treats .

Weeks after the go-to pancake chain revealed that the all-star fall flavor, pumpkin, would be returning to its food and drink menus again this year, the brand is teasing an even sweeter update involving the fan-favorite Oreo cookie, Reese's Pieces and Reese's peanut butter-flavored sauce.

Over the weekend, food blogger Markie_devo revealed that IHOP has plans to announce an all-new Halloween menu as part of the brand's "Flavor of the Month" pancake series, replacing its September special, Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake .

Headed to participating IHOP locations beginning on Oct. 1, 2024, is one sweet and savory entree, the Reese's Pieces Pancakes, which feature IHOP's signature stack packed with Reese's Pieces candy and Reese's peanut butter sauce, per the influencer.

Also available for a limited time is the adorably spooky stack, the Scary Face Pancakes, which feature eyes made of Oreo cookies and a mouth of candy corn!

Foodies seemed pretty pumped over the seasonal update, even if it is much simpler than the breakfast joint's previous specials.

"Reese's Pieces AND it's topped with a Reese's sauce?! Sold!" one excited Instagram user replied.

"The reeses pieces pancakes sounds good," a second admitted, suggesting it "Would been better approach if they used chocolate base so you can really get that reeses look."

"The scary face kinda slaps," another wrote.

"So I don't hate this," a more critical comment read. "I just wish they would've gone a lil harder."

"I would most def get the scary face pancakes over the Reese's Pieces," someone else admitted. "Totally not an adult here… 😂."

While the brand has yet to officially announce October's Pancake of the Month, a rep for IHOP previously confirmed that Pumpkin Spice Pancakes and Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Cold Brew would be available at participating restaurants beginning Sunday, Sept. 1.

Like spooky season, these menu items will come and go. Still, fans can expect something just as sweet to replace it as IHOP has been conjuring up innovative menu items all year long, previously releasing a special Lemon Oreo pancake (and a matching milkshake ), Orange Cream pancakes , Wonka-inspired meals and even a Thin Mint Pancake .
