Halloween is right around the corner and we can almost guarantee that our pups are just as interested in partaking in the excitement as we are. Man's best friend loves a good romp around the neighborhood, so why wouldn’t our fur babies be chomping at the bit for a chance to go trick-or-treating as well? As it turns out, Trader Joe’s is already on the case with a new spooky seasonal snack meant just for our perfect little good boys and girls.

While out plundering for more seasonal bounty last week, the always reliable Trader Joe’s Treasure Hunt made quite a haunting discovery at their local TJ’s in the form of peanut butter-flavored dog treats. The admin behind the popular Instagram account describes the treats as being “beautifully decorated” and “made without food dyes,” which is all it took to grab our attention. “Grab a bag for your furry friend while you can,” the caption of the post concluded.

Trader Joe’s Halloween Peanut Butter Flavor Decorated Dog Treats come in a variety of spooky shapes and sizes, including bones, cauldrons, skulls and owls. Customers can find 6.76-ounce bags available for just $3.99 each, with what looks to be at least 10 to 12 treats inside. As of now, there are no reports on the treats soft, chewy or crunchy front, however, they do look pretty darn appetizing as is.

“Hear me out…” one commenter wrote in reference to the surprisingly appetizing look of the new Halloween treats. Others chimed in to call the snacks “adorable” and report on their own dogs' approval of the taste, “My dog is a fan!”

Most dog owners can relate to the feeling of coming home empty handed in terms of dog treats and toys after a long day of shopping. We’ve all had our loving little pets looking up at us with disappointment as if to say, “nothing for me?” If that feeling breaks your heart just as much as it breaks ours, that means your pet is also a master manipulator. The clear solution here is to give in, buy the spooky treats from TJ’s and enjoy the incoming tail wagging and excitability our little babies just can’t control.
